crash - Android 2.3 emulator crashes when updating location -

i using eclipse write , debug android application. 1 of things need update location of device, , have tried use location controls panel in emulator control window. on manual tab, select decimal, enter valid latitude , longitude, , click send.

unfortunately, happens next emulator crashes (logcat output below). known issue, , if so, there workaround? help, martin

there a bug in 2.3 emulator causes problem. there no fix @ time.
