Custom error messages for standard errors in Cognos 8 -

our cognos 8 application has error affecting many users:

cm-req-4158 search path ... invalid.

we know how fix problem (it's browser configuration issue) error message not helpful. also, users issue if upgrade ie.

so

is possible modify error message more useful?

i believe way you'll able hone in on messages use language development kit (ldk).. i'm sure can edit them hand, don't think it's worth it.
